GRANTS FOR ASSISTANCE
To providing services or needs for Seniors.
This is a one-time only $150 grant from the Aging Services Coalition of North Iowa, Inc. to provide services or needs for a Senior individual or individuals meeting the following criteria:

Applicant/s must be 55 or over

Income limits are based on the Elderly Waiver Guidelines

The money is for assistance of an unexpected expense and will be paid directly to the vendor, not the individual requesting the assistance
A committee of the Aging Services Coalition of North Iowa, Inc. will review applications. After no longer than six weeks, the applicant will be notified whether or not the application was approved for funding. The committee bases their decision on applicants they deem in the MOST need, not on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the organization’s funding amount has been used for the year ending August, grants will no longer be awarded. Upon approval of grant, a check will be paid directly to the vendor to assist the individual in that expense.
